During the last century, these canoes ensured the sustainability of the city of Lisbon, providing transport for people and goods. Cork, fresh products, salt and wine were transported between the two banks of the Tagus River.

Its longevity is due to its great durability, safety and reliability. Driven by the wind, they convey a sense of calm, serenity and tranquility on board.

They are registered at the Museu da Marinha do Tejo and are duly legalized for the Maritime-Touristic Activity.
